I can say that I am a crazy fan of reading books from a very young age because I have read many books. I might not be able to tell you an exact number, but all the books I have read were exciting. Furthermore, the writers of these books write fantastic content.

 The stories were captivating, and the characters were mature. I recommend these books to anyone who is looking for something to read. So stay with me and enjoy!

The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren:

Christina Lauren, known as the queen of romance, has returned with another romantic book and story. This story revolves around the heir of a grocery chain and his bold ex-artist, who pretend to be in a fake relationship and live as husband and wife in front of the world. 

Anna Green thought she was marrying Liam “West” Weston to get subsidized family housing at UCLA. They both felt that they had signed divorce papers after graduation, and now their paths were separate, but only time would tell if they would meet again.

Three years later, they meet again, and Anna is a struggling artist who barely makes ends meet with her monthly earnings. Liam West is a Stanford professor and one of the heirs to the Weston Food conglomerate. Although he has little interest in working for the family business, he is still an heir. This Summer Will be Different by Carley Fortune:

The author of this book is a male named Carley Fortune, an award-winning writer. In this story, he portrays a tourist’s journey exploring different places during every summer vacation. Lucy promises to herself that this summer will be different, that she will not get into any trouble, and that something unique will happen this time. When Lucy spends her vacation at a beach house on Prince Edward Island, she meets Felix, a resident there. Lucy has no idea that Felix is the brother of her best friend.

This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune

 One night, when a storm and lightning shine in the sky, they both find themselves drawn to each other. However, they both start to distance themselves from each other because they do not want to repeat that night. But saying it is easier than doing it because Lucy is attracted to Felix’s sparkling eyes but doesn’t want to get into his arms again.

Lucy and her friend Bridget go on long walks together yearly, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine under the high cliffs. However, during all this, Lucy also senses Felix’s changing feelings. But she tests her heart to see how strong and safe it is. But love will find its way into their hearts again.

The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton:

This is a novel centered around a high-concept murder mystery and several complications. The story unfolds on a night when a fog destroys the entire world, claiming the lives of those it touches in cities and villages. Among the survivors are only 122 villagers and three scientists who begin to reside on an island. They engage in farming and fishing and follow the roles assigned by the scientists, living happily. However, one night, they discover one of the scientists in a critically injured state, already deceased.

The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton

This incident creates fear among them, disrupting the protective barrier around the island, which keeps the fog at bay. Now, if the solution to the murder is not found within 107 hours, the mist will absorb the entire island, resulting in the death of everyone. But the inhabitants fail to comprehend the fact that there is a murderer among them whom they cannot identify. This novel is a complicated mystery and requires thorough reading to understand fully.

One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware:

Together are four other couples: Bayer and Angel, Dan and Santana, Joel and Romi, and Conor and Zana. The reality show is set to be shot on an island in India, but things start going downhill as soon as they arrive. After clearing the previous challenges, Nico gets eliminated quickly when they come to the island.

One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware

 A severe storm hits one night, resulting in two deaths. Lyla realizes that this reality show may be a matter of life and death, especially when they are stripped of their phones, cutting off all communication. Stranded and facing various challenges, the group decides to stick together, but tensions rise, and chaos ensues. When it becomes clear that no help will arrive, Connor seizes control of all the supplies on the island.

When Bayer and Dan refuse to agree with him, Connor kills them. One of them escapes. Now, only four women and one man are left. Zana, who is Connor’s partner, kills him by drowning him in the water due to his unequal distribution of supplies. Now, only four women remain.

 Even though Conor dies, they eventually manage to make contact with a passing boat and escape. This novel is packed with thrilling moments, and you will surely enjoy it when you read it thoroughly.

If Something Happens to Me by Alex Finlay:

This story revolves around Ryan Richardson, who has been haunted by a terrifying night for five years. He sees someone from that dreadful night in his dreams whenever he sleeps. One night, Ryan and  His girlfriend Ali were driving when suddenly they were attacked. Something struck his head forcefully, and he lost consciousness. However, amidst the chaos, he heard Ali’s screaming, saying, “If something happens to me,” and at that moment, someone forcefully pulled him out of the car.

After that incident, when Ryan regains consciousness, he finds himself not at the scene of the attack. He desperately searches for his car and his girlfriend but to no avail. Ryan is consumed by the shadow of doubt, unable to find evidence to solve the mystery.

If Something Happens to Me by Alex Finlay

He changes his last name and enrolls in law school to leave his past behind. When he goes on a summer trip to Italy with his schoolmates, he receives a call from his father. His father informs him that Ali’s car has been found submerged in a lake in a village, with two bodies inside and a note written by Ali saying, “If something happens to me.”

On the other side of the world, Ryan encounters the person he never imagined seeing, the one he sees in his dreams every night. Ryan travels from the hills of Tuscany to a rural village in the UK and Paris in search of the truth.

Little did he know that his quest would lead him to a young sheriff’s deputy in Kansas, working her first case, and a mobster in Philadelphia. Alex Finlay has crafted this novel in a classic and captivating style, infused with mystery, keeping readers on the edge of their seats.

When he arrives in this new world, he feels lost seeing the technology and diverse women around him. A civil servant is appointed to monitor him and is paid for her services. These individuals from different eras are brought together to explore whether time travel is possible. Among them is Graham Gore, who, according to history, died on Sir Franklin’s expedition in 1845.

Therefore, he struggles to adapt to living with an independent woman, showing his old-fashioned side. However, he quickly adjusts with the help of modern technology and an exciting cast of characters. Initially, the civil servant only expects to share living space, but their relationship deepens unexpectedly into love. Now, they must make decisions together that could change their future.

Conclusion

These are the seven best books written by top authors, and besides these, there are others you should try too, but these are my favorites. They offer diverse stories: romantic, spicy, thrilling, and mysterious. Every book has a different texture; while reading it, you will go through various mood swings.

Trust me, you will enjoy them. The characters in these stories will take you on a journey around the world as you keep reading, and you will learn many new things along the way.
