Icebreaker series by Hannah Grace, the TikTok author, made a great impression on the world of romantic novels and quickly became popular. She was famous for her hockey romance” Icebreaker,” which caused quite a sensation in the romance world. The “Icebreaker” series, also known as the Maple Hills series, consists of three books.
Following the success of the first book, she released another book in the same genre called “Wildfire. “As you know two parts of this series have been released which got a lot of fame now the third part is going to be released. Yes it’s happening and I am Soo excited I can’t wait.
Hannah’s novel or series is set at a fictional University of California known as Maple Hills. It is about two young people, Nathan, a hockey player, and Anastasia Allen, a figure skater, falling in love. It falls under the adult romance genre, focusing on how these two characters navigate their love while pursuing their respective sports careers. It has been described as “spicy” among romance genre fans.
This book is worth reading, especially for those who love to read romance. There is no doubt that these books are worthwhile, but because they are too romantic, I recommend those who are at least 18 years old to read them.

Icebreaker Book#1:
This story revolves around a figure skater girl named Anastasia Allen, who’s training to become an Olympic athlete at the University of California. She is accompanied by her skating partner, Aaron Carlisle, and her friend, Lola, who live together. Anastasia often faces anxiety attacks, so she seeks relief from a therapist. She is firm in steering clear of any romantic involvements and carefully plans out each day of her life.
Their lives were going smoothly until something happened that she did not want. A guy who is the captain of his college hockey team entered her life; his name is Nathan Hawkins. When Nathan completes his graduation, he will join the national hockey team. He also lives with his teammates Henry and Jaiden and his best friend Robbie.
The story of this couple begins after the destruction of the hockey rink when the athletic director forces the figure skaters to share their rink. It is one of those situations that becomes the reason for Nathan and Allen’s encounter. However, Anastasia Allen dislikes Nathan because she does not like hockey players.
She also harbors resentment towards Nathan because he lied to Allen. Nathan tries to befriend Anastasia, but she always avoids him. However, various reasons eventually lead to them bumping into each other.
During this time, Lola and Robbie also grew closer and started dating. One night, Anastasia and Nathan meet again at a party, and their hostile relationship takes a new turn. They become very close to each other, and a sexual relationship develops between them. After that, Anastasia avoids Nathan for about a week, but it can not last long. One day, they run into each other again at university, and they keep having these intimate moments between them, and their hostility turns into friendship.
Looking at her makes me want to be the funniest guy in the room, so I can be the one to make her laugh.
Icebreaker
Meanwhile, Aaron, who was very possessive of Anastasia injures himself during a football match and unjustly blames Nathan for it. The coach threatens him, and Nathan ends up taking the blame for something he did not do. As a punishment, he is banned from the hockey team until Aaron gets better.
Aaron does all of this just to keep Anastasia away from Nathan, but Anastasia gets very confused, not knowing whom to trust. Two weeks pass without them meeting or talking to each other. However, during this time, Anastasia realizes that she has started to develop feelings for Nathan, and she even shares this with her therapist. Her therapist advises her to express her feelings to Nathan and to stay away from Aaron.
A few days later, Anastasia and Aaron qualify for sectionals, but there Aaron drops Anastasia on the ice and injures himself again, sidelining both of them for eight weeks. After that, Nathan starts taking care of Anastasia, and they spend a lot of time together. During this period, Nathan opens up to Anastasia about his feelings, and Anastasia does the same.

She has never been one for these kinds of feelings, and it all feels strange to her. She decides she will never see him again.
She is so excited to become a camp counselor, thinking she would not have to deal with him and his feelings anymore. But, surprisingly, on the first day of camp, they meet and are both surprised to see each other again, bringing back memories of that night.
They both came to the camp from Maple Hills to get away from their complicated family situations, but it looks like they have stumbled into another challenging situation. The camp has this rule that there should be no relationships between staff members, and Russ knows this, but Aurora has never been one to follow rules.

Icebreaker Series Review:
I just finished this book, and I must say that I liked it. I had read some negative reviews about these books, but when I read them personally, I found them to be good. The first book in this series, “Icebreaker,” was the most enjoyable book for me, and it was full of spice, romance, and entertainment.
Thanks to the writer for not putting any character’s picture on the front cover because when we imagine all these characters while reading, it feels much better. When the chapters begin, they are quite interesting, but then there are many tense moments where there are distances between Anastasia and Nathan. However, this story portrays this couple as very caring and loving.
The character that I disliked in this book was Aaron’s. Then similarly, the next two books have their own unique identities with new faces and new characters that were very entertaining. This series covers some sexual content along with being very romantic. But overall, I enjoyed this series. Some chapters felt boring to me, but overall, it was good so that I would give this series a 4-star rating. I suggest you read this series by Hanna Grace; you will enjoy it.
In the end, I just want to say that this novel should not have been too bold, but overall, it’s good.
Conclusion
The writer of this series, Hanna Grace, presented every emotion with a balance, bringing each character to life. For instance, the roles of Anastasia and Nathan as a romantic couple were positive, while Aaron’s character was negative. Some people found love, while others found hatred. Similarly, in Wildfire, Russ and Aurora’s characters are portrayed as complicated and confused, as they love each other but also try to distance themselves.
And then there is the couple from Daydream, Halle, and Henry, who suddenly meet each other, and Henry’s circumstances bring them closer. The writer has presented both love and hate throughout the series, but in the end, love wins. After reading Icebreaker, where plots are hatched to separate Nathan and Anastasia, they end up getting closer. It’s only after reading all three books in this series that you truly grasp the message the writer wants to convey.
