The Brothers Hawthorne:

My Review:
The beginning was amazing. From the first page, I was hooked. We get a great introduction to Avery. I love how her life changes like that. We feel this awesome tension between her and the family. You know drama’s about to be, and you’re just at the edge of your seat. We get to the middle part of the series, which gets boring. I expected the riddle part to be more exciting.
A lot of it is very redundant. During the end and the last half of the series, things kind of start picking up, but it gets weird. We get a few more clues and riddles, and we get to the book’s middle part, which gets boring. And that makes it a little more exciting. But everything that all of this built up to could have been more impressive.
And when I really thought about it, we didn’t really get too many answers. I think my biggest issue with this series can be wrapped up in one word. Development. The riddles and twists in the games were less of a main plot and more of a subplot. It was not a continuous cycle for me. It was like a riddle here, a riddle there, and then some other plot. And I didn’t feel the Hawthorne family was developed. There were a lot of things that were going on. A lot of things were mentioned. Some of them kind of faltered off in the end.
I didn’t know anybody other than Avery, and her character just got strained throughout the series. I don’t want to make it sound like this was a bad book. Even though it let me down, I couldn’t stop reading it. It was very fast-paced. There were short chapters, which was amazing. And when the plot was on, it was on. What I found the most interesting was a plot about Avery staying safe now that she’s inherited all of this money. And the actual idea of this book is magnificent.
Conclusion:
Overall, the book was terrific. The way Avery solved the mystery was excellent. The book is wholly filled with thriller and suspense. Avery tries her best to uncover the truths of the four brothers. The author’s writing style is fantastic, which keeps the readers reading and creates suspense in them to know what happens next in the story. If you are a thriller and suspense novels fan, try these series. HAVE A GOOD READ
