Hey folks! Just like you can see in the title, we will take over the “King of Sins” series, also known as the “King Of Wrath” series, in this post. After reading the “Twisted series,” I became interested in Ana Huang’s books.
I found the series on the internet and pre-ordered the books, but for some reason, I got busy, so I couldn’t read and review them then. Recently finished reading the books, and I am eager to share my fresh thoughts with my audience. Sorry to say, but at first, I skipped the books for so long, thinking that what special Asian books could have? But the “Twisted Series” forced me to read the next one.
I have collected my thoughts, some in-depth basics, and spoiler-free summaries to help you choose your next book wisely.
King of Sin Series Overview:
The “King of Sins” series by Ana Huang explores the dark and dangerous world of sins. The fabulous characters and the twisting plot grip you from the first to the last word. Get ready, fans of Romantic suspense and enemies-to-lovers stories.
Ana Huang, the author of this series, is praised for her ability to write complex characters and engaging stories (you will experience what I’m saying after going through the series). Her dedication to romance and suspense is visible in her books.
The series starts from “King of Wrath” (book #1). Dante Russo is a powerful and controlling CEO. He never wanted to get married, but he’s forced into an engagement with Vivian Lau due to a blackmail threat. Vivian, a well-mannered jewelry heiress, agrees to the arranged marriage for her family’s social status. Despite Dante’s ruthless demeanor, he finds himself unable to let Vivian go. As they navigate their complex relationship, Vivian unexpectedly falls in love with her future husband.
The second book, “King of Pride,” explores Kai Young, a controlled billionaire heir. He is faced with chaos when Isabella, with her bold personality and purple hair, enters his life. Alessandra didn’t expect him to fight for their marriage, but he does, ready to make things right no matter what.

Genre and Age Rating:
The series targets Contemporary Romance, Asian love, and Billionaire romance. There are many explicit content and dark aspects that engage you or may bother you if you are underage. The book offers various spicy chapters.
As the genre defines, the book is only for teenagers once they are comfortable with this genre. In my opinion, teenagers cannot get as much juice as mature people can. The series is okay to go for ages 17 and above.

The “King of Sins” is set up to 7 books as per the author’s saying:

The series still needs to be completed; several books are to be added to the series. The books are worth waiting for; the good thing is, the more you wait for them, the more thrill and excitement you will have. Fans can expect more fun and love.

The ”King of Sins” series offers related books that are followed by each other. It is highly recommended that you: “Follow the reading order” as the books are interconnected. The books are said to be standalones, but reading by order will give you the best experience.
The story will be spoiled as some significant spoilers can be revealed if you don’t follow the Reading order.

I was too engaged while reading the first book that I decided to write a post about the series. Just trying to give my best here, my readers!
King of Wrath:
This story starts with a guy named Dante Russo and a girl named Vivian. Dante is from a very powerful and wealthy family called the Russo family. They are among the leading powerful men in New York. If someone could tie in with this family, they would benefit greatly.
Vivian’s family is also very wealthy. They own a jewelry company. Vivian’s family could raise much more if they bond with the Russo family. That is why Vivian’s father arranged her marriage with Dante against her will. Even though she is already rich, this could increase their social status. Vivian is independent. She is an event planner and is building a successful career.
Vivian is focused on work and takes too long to marry, so her parents arrange her marriage. Vivian knows Dante very well; he is handsome and attractive, but she is not very interested in him. Vivian’s father has a secret about Dante. He uses this as a blackmail agent and forces Dante to marry his daughter. Vivian doesn’t know about this and thinks it’s just an arranged marriage.

From being in forced proximity to falling hard for each other, both don’t know what happened, and they get serious for each other. The book ends with a 5-star rating. Really, a lot of fun and love is packed into it.

King of Wrath
King of Pride:
This is an interconnected standalone in the series. The “King of Pride” book follows Kai and Isabella, which we also meet in the 1st book, “King of Wrath”. The book offers billionaire romance. Isabella is the friend of Vivian and Kai is the buddy of Dante. Isabella is a bartender at the top-rated Valhalla Club. Kai is a member of this club as well as Dante is also.
Isabella and Kai had a few interactions with each other. They have nothing in common, completely different from one another. They both get intrigued by each other. They cannot get together like society forces to maintain a gap between the boss and an employee. Kai also has no time for these things as he is going to be the CEO of his family’s company. The bar has a rule that the membership holders cannot date the bartenders. This makes more hurdles stand in their way.

Kai cannot afford any distractions as he is trying to get himself ready for the future of his mom’s company. The main distraction for him is Isabella. Kai has to focus on work while Isabella is a chaotic beauty for him. Both are attracted to some extent but don’t know how to start. That’s all I can say here, cannot reveal the ending.

King of Pride
King of Greed:
“King of Greed” features Dominic and Alessandra. This is also a Billionaire romance book. Dominic is the king of Wall Street and the richest man there. Alessandra is his wife. Alessandra proved to be gold for his life. She did her best; she stood with Dominic all the time, helped him build the empire, and worked with him.
Dominic always put his work first, then Alessandra. He kept ignoring her, not taking care of her as he used to do before. He was always busy at work, forgetting all the memories and special days spent with each other. Alessandra stood quiet until this happened. Dominic forgot their 10th anniversary. Alessandra was too angry and gave up shutting her mouth.
Alessandra, with furious heart and mind, wants to leave Dominic. She filed a divorce against Dominic. Dominic is not letting her go. He starts remembering the old days, but it’s too late according to Alessandra. She is fed up with him and wants to go. Tension starts increasing, problems grow, and the environment is full of frustration. Alessandra gets separated and the good old memories shatter.

This book, I cannot give it 5 stars but, 3.5 is good for it. Dominic is not necessarily designed as he should be. Ana could have done more for Dominic but, it’s okay.

My Review:
Just like Ana Huang does always, a fast-paced and engaging writing style with all the necessary ingredients. Emotions, love, anger, and hate, everything was perfectly added. Vivian’s character is just above the limits, very relatable, has potential, a strong protagonist with high strength and compassion.
Let’s talk about the top-class Dante’s characters. His attitude, beauty, style, and himself make him stand out and most appealing. Ana has used many jealousy scenes that add a realistic effect to the story. The depth of the characters and the romantic aspects is awesome.
The Billionaire and King type of character and story buildup in the romance genre, WOW. Wildy entertaining, relatable, and setting up the next book, is a great strategy.
The plot, somewhere, felt a bit boring. Dominic as I have discussed earlier, I just didn’t get that character, hope you like him.
Overall, the series is worth reading, spending quality time with Ana Huang and her books felt amazing.
Conclusion:
Get ready to join Ana Huang’s “King of Sins” series for a blockbuster of love and mystery! I was unsure about Asian books, but the “Twisted Series” changed my mind. Dante, Kai, and Dominic stories are waiting for you. Each book is its own adventure! If you like romance with a dash of mystery, these books are your perfect match.
